People (i.e the media and those lead by them) need to understand that greatness in the past is no guarantee of greatness in the future.
If he seeks regular European football, his best option at the moment is to help his current team get there, not parasite off the previous work of those elsewhere who went before him.

There will be other clubs wishing Sakho was on their books.
From all accounts,Sullivan has already agreed to increase the lad's wages as a result of his astonishing start in the PL. From what I gather he has a four year contract due to be increased to five years with a higher basic wage plus performance bonuses. At the moment there is no escape clause in place,so it's up to Sullivan to put a new deal in place to keep the boy happy. It's obvious we got a bargain with Sakho but we have to reward him accordingly.

How long's his contract? Must be at least 3-4 years. If so charge a fucking King's ransom for him. If the player kicks up a fuss, we can get by with Carroll and Valencia up front.

Crassus- wouldn't think so seen as he was a total unknown from the french second division when we signed him.
I imagine we really bought him as a benchwarmer but he's just exceeded all expectations so spectacularly.
